Forge 2025: Highlights from Our Fourth Annual Co-Founder Summit

Alloy Partners held our fourth annual Co-Founder’s Summit, Forge, at Sundance Mountain Resort earlier this month. Forge brought together co-founders of our portfolio companies, key internal team members, and industry experts for two days in the Utah mountains. The unique opportunity allowed co-founders to not only connect and learn from each other, but also to gain additional resources to help them be successful, tapping into the advantage of building companies with Alloy.

Sundance provided the perfect backdrop for a few days away from the typical high demands of building a business and gave a breathtaking space to recharge, gain support, share, and develop new ideas. With morning yoga, an afternoon hike, and even s’mores by the fire, there was ample time to enjoy the resort while making the most of the formal sessions. Session topics were carefully chosen to benefit the group and included: Building 0-1 Revenue Quickly, Managing Exits, New Tax Laws & Implications, Fundraising Date Trends, and AI-First Product Development.

Lesa Mitchell, General Manager of Alloy Partners, summed it up perfectly when she stated, “Co-founders of companies have a unique challenge that often includes riding an hour by hour roller coaster for the first couple of years of their business. Every day is a burn day for our co-founders, and if they can support one another through in-person problem solving, learning, and becoming emotional support for one another, it is a win-win. That is why we bring our co-founders together for Forge.”

As we continue to build and invest in startups across dozens of industries, our talented and capable co-founder network also continues to grow. Forge is a perfect opportunity for that network to come together to be inspired, encouraged, and challenged by their peers and experts in our network. Thank you to our co-founders and to Sundance for another great Forge. We also want to say thank you to both Cooley and Carta for joining us during the week, sharing incredible insights with our portfolio co-founders, and making this event possible.
